Sétimo (Seventh) is an esplanade that opened recently near the famous roundabout of Marquês de Pombal. For me, the best thing about it was its transparency. Few are the cafés that display their prices online (at least in Portugal), plus, the menu has a nice layout spiced up with a hint of humor. I am convinced.
For one euro you get a huge galão (coffee with milk). They don't have croissants on week days (people don't ask so much for them so they avoid the food waste). They have a toast + tea menu for 1.50€ and even made a personal recommendation of red tea instead of the one we were going to chose (and if we didn't like it we wouldn't pay).
There is no big view from this spot, buildings and street, but behind us the big Eduardo VII garden extends itself through the hill.
